Welcome to Troop 633

Troop 633 focuses on outdoor and high adventure activities. If you like camping, hiking, swimming, backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, spelunking, rock climbing, or just spending time outdoors, you’ll enjoy spending time with us!

The Troop is youth-led and operates via the patrol method with adult leaders present to support the Scouts.

As of 2026, we have merged our former Boys Troop 633 with Girls Troop 1633 into an inaugural Family Troop for all youth. We were proud to have been among the troops able to test the "combined" pilot program with great success. All are welcome!

We are part of the Tierra Rejada District in the Ventura County Council of the Scouts BSA and serve the communities and surrounding areas of Simi Valley. We welcome new families to learn more about our Troop.

Our weekly Monday meetings are from 7:30pm to 9:00pm and are held at the Simi Covenant Church in the fellowship hall at 4680 Alamo St, Simi Valley, CA 93063.

Troop 633 is thrilled that for the first time in history, the iconic program of the Boy Scouts of America is open to young women as well as young men, all of whom will have the chance to earn Scouting's highest rank, Eagle Scout.

Due to ongoing construction in the Fellowship Hall, the Monday March 3rd Troop Meeting will be in the Worship Center.

Please park on the West side of the property by the Worship Center.

There will be no meeting on Monday 11/25 due to Thanksgiving break. So, the PLC has been moved up to next Monday, 11/18.

The December Court of Honor is on Monday, 12/2. Make sure to get your advancements logged in Scoutbook!

Due to the number of conflicts, this coming Monday, August 19th will be a PLC, to be held on Zoom at 8:00pm. Check Band for the link in the Event created by Mr. Kurata.
The Annual Planning Meeting will be the following Monday, August 26th, in person, at 7:00pm, with food! RSVP in Band so we know how much food to have. Be sure to bring your ideas and research for the next year!
